Display over other apps

If a memo cannot float, choose Start Floating. When Android opens the display-over-other-apps settings, allow the permission for FMX, return to FMX, and try again. The wording and location of this setting can vary by Android version and phone maker.

Active memos, Single, and Rotate

The Active switches control which saved memos are available for floating. Selecting a memo for editing is separate from making it Active.

• Single active memo requires exactly one Active memo.
• Rotate active memos can use one or more Active memos and changes them at the interval you set.

Start and stop floating

Create or select a memo, set the Active switches and display behaviour, then choose Start Floating. A visible Android notification appears while the foreground service is active.

To finish, return to FMX and choose Stop Floating. The memo overlay and foreground-service notification should be removed. If Android has interrupted the app, reopen FMX and check the displayed status.

Touch-through and custom position

During normal floating, taps pass through the memo to the launcher or app underneath. Edit Position temporarily makes only the memo window draggable. Choose Done or Cancel to return to touch-through mode.

Speech input

Speech-to-write requires a compatible Android or device speech-recognition provider. If recognition is unavailable, type the memo instead. FMX does not request persistent audio-recording permission, but the selected provider may have its own network and privacy behaviour.

Purchase email and invoice details

For a direct purchase, the purchase email remains linked to secure FMX delivery and account-free update recovery. A business purchaser may provide a different invoice email and structured company billing details for the accounting document without changing that entitlement. Contact support if issued billing details need review; the original invoice remains immutable while an appropriate correction is assessed.

Refunds, withdrawal, complaints, and invoice corrections

Email fmx@pitip-mitim.si. No customer account is required. Provide the invoice number or a provider/purchase reference where available, the purchase email, and a concise description of the requested outcome. An invoice PDF is optional. FMX will acknowledge the request by email. This process does not promise an automatic refund and does not affect statutory rights.

Do not send passwords, card details, PayPal credentials, API keys, or other payment or security credentials.

Offline memo use and store licensing

FMX's memo storage and floating-memo functions work locally on your Android phone. No PITIP cloud connection or FMX account is required for normal memo use.

Some store-specific builds may use network access where required for distribution-platform licence or entitlement verification. Huawei AppGallery DRM is the current specific example. This verification does not send memo contents to PITIP.

Before clearing data or uninstalling

Clearing FMX app data or uninstalling FMX may remove saved memos and settings. FMX requests exclusion of app data from Android cloud backup, and PITIP does not provide cloud memo recovery. Device-to-device migration behaviour can vary by Android version and manufacturer.

Direct APK installation and updates

FMX direct edition is delivered as an Android APK through a time-limited secure FMX claim. Install only the APK obtained through that official channel. Android may ask you to allow installation from the browser or files app used for the download, and Google Play Protect may display a sideload warning. Do not disable Play Protect globally.

An existing compatible FMX installation signed by the same publisher should normally update in place. Eligible direct purchasers can use Get my FMX update with the original purchase email. Store purchasers continue to install and update through their store. See the Updates page for details.
