What is FMX?

FMX — Floating Memo X is an Android app for creating short memos and showing them as a configurable floating overlay while you continue using your phone.

How can FMX support students and everyday productivity?

Useful for students and everyday productivity: keep short study prompts, reminders, quotations, formulas, vocabulary, or task notes visible while using other Android apps.

Is an FMX account required?

No. FMX does not require an FMX account, email registration, a password, or a PITIP cloud login.

Where are my memos stored?

FMX stores memo content and settings locally in app-private storage on your Android phone. PITIP does not operate a cloud memo-storage or recovery service.

How do direct APK updates work?

Eligible direct purchasers can use Get my FMX update with the original purchase email to request a time-limited secure claim without creating an account.

What Android version is required?

FMX supports Android phones running Android 8.0 or later. There is no iOS version.

What is the difference between direct and store purchase?

A store purchase is installed and updated through that store. Direct website delivery uses a signed Android APK with account-free recovery through the original purchase email.
